REFLECTION

SELF REFLECTION

Design Communication was a module that required a lot of drawing compared to the other modules. It thought us a lot on the basics such as : line weight, hatching, architectural lettering, using different drawing materials, etc. These skills were further used in AD1 as well which made doing drawings in AD1 slightly less stressful since we knew the basic knowledge on architectural drawings. Most of the lectures were given online but then we had physical tutorials to show our tutors our progress to see if we’re on the right track. Besides that our tutors will always make tutorial classes really interactive by giving us sketching exercises to do before continuing our work.

I've learned to progress independently apart from the weekly tutorials available and be disciplined. I was also intellectually engaged when my tutor gave me feedbacks and advices into how I should rearrange my ideas.

Intrapersonal Skills

I am now capable of reflecting upon my past work and ethics. I have also learned many things about elevation views. I believe i have done well as I was able to complete the assignment a week before the deadline.

Communication Skills

I've learned to communicate with my tutor whenever I was stuck, or when I was in doubt about what to do. With limited time in tutorials, I learned to ask smart and crucial questions
